The company is named Andy Family, it is a French start-up specialised in kids toys. "Andy is the first community marketplace exclusively dedicated to second-hand toys. Parents, families, this site is for you! Are your wardrobes overflowing? Here, you can sell them, and replace them with toys that have already been loved, all at friendly prices."This business deeply cares about the planet as it allows parents to buy toys that were already used by someone else. The prices of the toys are lower than the initial price when brand new of course, so that's why parents love the concept too.
The business is run by Marie Fauchille which is the older daughter of a 7 kids family. The idea of giving their toys to others runs in her blood and she wanted to make the process of 'giving' to other easier. She has always been ecologically sensitive as she grew up with a lot of family members in her house. Moreover, during her 20s, she worked for a big toy company called PicWicToys. This experience has opened her eyes on how impactful the toy industry is to the planet and the economy. This eye-opening experience grew her will to do something about it and have her own impact.
